New Artworks - Cornish Seascapes - Acrylic on canvas


A new group of canvases focusing again on wonderful Cornwall. Below are first the large 100cm x 100cm acrylics followed by their respective smaller studies. All pieces can be purchased here in my shop.

Glowing Morning I - Acrylic on canvas, 50cm x 50cm, by Jonathan Pitts.

The two previous paintings focus on the early morning light as it rises behind Kennack Sands on the Lizard Peninsula. The sun hangs behind the headland and creates a glowing sky with an interesting silhouette.

The previous two paintings are about the sensation of standing at the shoreline watching the rushing tide racing over the shallow sands.

The previous two focus on the Brisons at Cape Cornwall. Stood at the shoreline watching the tide as it is almost in; crashing over the rocks.
